Throughout the nation sea of anger and frustration towards the brutal and heinous crime committed is believed to CHANGE the very scenario of this nation.It seemed the nations nextgen suddenly are in a mood to change an otherwise passive nation. Media rallied for the cause of safety and security where as the prime minister stood at the airport to receive the bereaved. Such was the intensity of the crime that shook a nation.
In fact its the brutality of the crime that shocked threatened and worried the citizens. However this country has a history of forgetting and even this gruesome brutality will be a part of history soon. The symptoms are already showing..
Yet the author of this blog wants to bring out the real culprit behind this brutality.
We the people of this country are very lenient towards law. Law or its machinery for us is a tool to punish criminals And we are not criminals. In our context criminals are those who murder loot rape etc., . The definition of criminal is very simple here.
Breaking the signal and getting caught is never an offence in this country. Travelling without license is never considered a crime and the nextgen takes pride in travelling without license. Making the very compartments we travel dirty is never a crime at all. Littering in public places is just a right here. You can eat anywhere and throw any where. Copying from other mates is never a serious issue here. Getting different certificates by bribing is a convention here. Travelling in shared autos cars is a day to day scenario. We never take bills for petty goods(groceries) purchased. You can block a public road for a private function yet it cannot be questioned.Purchasing tickets in black is not at all an issue.
Every day we break law knowingly Every hour we go against law willingly. Every minute of our lives is ultravire to various acts. Yet they are never crimes.Its our living style. Its accepted. No punishments.
The girl and the boy are medical students. They very well know the fact either they have to travel by a govt bus or a auto or a taxi. They well knew that the bus was not legally permitted. Yet knowingly they boarded into hell breaking the very laws which ask passengers not to alight illegal transport means . And what resulted was a shameful chapter in this country.
Let us realize laws are made keeping our security and safety in view. Yet we ignore and break them as per our convenience. Its high time we recognize that a small step against law may result in such brutalities.
LET US DO IT. LET ALL OF US BE AWARE OF THE FACT THAT WE GAIN NOTHING BY BREAKING LAWS INTENDED FOR OUR SAFETY AND SECURITY.
